{fishing at georgetown lake}

It was cold and rainy this Memorial Day. Go figure...it usually is in Montana! BJ had the idea of going fishing at Georgetown Lake for a bit. The boys worm hunted in the yard for bait and Cash LOVED it! We went to Wal*Mart and got him his own fishing rod and Clara her own camp chair and headed out...
I'm going to try harder at having BJ take my picture with the kids while we are out doing stuff. I thought this progression was kinda funny...
The boys fishing...
Clara in her big girl camping chair! I got a lot of her....she still sits {fairly} still for me!
We were setting the camera on timer mode and running to catch a pic!
Happy Memorial Day Weekend 2012

last day of pre-school

Cash's last day of pre-school was this past Wednesday. They had a "fun day" for their last day. *************** He was tired when we picked him up, and I couldn't get a good picture of him outside school. He also wasn't wanting a pic with Miss Susie, his teacher. She will be his teacher in the fall, so maybe then!

a big weekend for a little girl

these pictures were taken on friday evening.... clara was trying with all she had to crawl. she could actually get to anything she wanted with this pretty sweet technique...
....and by sunday evening she had figured it out
she started waving on cue just about everytime we say "hi" or "bye-bye" to her...
and a (now) old trick, giving high-5's...
clara also started picking up small finger foods and feeding herself, babbling "dada" and GREW HER FIRST TOOTH!!! All these things literally happened in a short 3 day span!

{Ryan turns 3}

Last weekend was Ryan's 3rd Birthday. We went to Bozeman for his little party. Dad built him a swing set and the boys were thrilled to play outside the whole time. Here are some pics from the festivities!

shoppers

I found this shopping cart out on the curb at Mom and Dad's neighbors house with a nice FREE sign on it. SCORE!

apparently she can hold a sippy cup

::Learning to pedal::

We took a Saturday afternoon excursion to the walking trail/duck pond. BJ threw in Cash's bike for him to practice. He hasn't been so keen on the idea of riding for some reason. Figuring a straight path would be enticing, we gave it a shot. After much coaxing before we all got out of the car, Cash finally gave in and said he would give it a try. Not long after he was smiling away and pretty proud of himself. We both gave EXTRA praise then entire way and I am pretty sure he will be back on the trail next time.
t
Sissy got out of the stroller long enough to get some cute shots of her on a random park bench along the path. She was pretty happy to be freed from the stroller for a quick minute...
And one pic of her in the stroller. Wonder what she is thinking?
End of the road....
