Carhart Boys and Grandpa

Great Grandma and Grandpa head to Arizona

BJ's Grandma Peggy and Grandpa Bill live in Bozeman for the summer and then head down to Arizona for the winter. Every year when they pack up, I wish I was going with them! The AZ weather sounds so enticing this time of year! BJ was hunting (I will post pics soon, he got an elk!) so Cash and I headed out to their place to say good bye. They were still in town last year when Cash was born, so they got to meet him before they left. Unfortunately, the weather has gotten colder earlier this year and they are heading out this week.

I don't have any grandparents of my own anymore, but I am very fortunate to have both Bill and Peggy in my life. Have a great winter in Arizona and we will all see you next year!

Cash on Daddy's Tractor

This tractor was BJ's when he was a little boy. It has been shared with a few of BJ's cousins little boys. It has now made its way back to Cash.

Cash at the park

Here is Cash at Lindley Park. He is really into "buck-a-rooing" so we took him over. He seemed to enjoy playing in the leaves and wood chips more than the toys!!

Pumpkin Pictures

Rocky Creek Farm~Pumpkin Patch

I have been waiting so long to take Cash to the pumpkin patch!! I convinced BJ to take me there last year, but there were TONS of families with little kids (and BJ doesn't do crowds too well...) and then we saw that there was a hayride to the actual pumpkin patch (pulled by a horse) so we left. I am VERY allergic to horses I found out a few years ago, and since I was pregnant we didn't want to risk anything happening. Anyway, fast forward to this year...and I couldn't wait to take Cashy. So I popped a Benadryl and headed out with Mom and Andrea. Mom took amazing pictures yesterday!! Oh and this year the hayride was pulled by a tractor, not a horse ;)

Baptism

Baptism Day

Cash and Ryan were Baptised on Sunday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Both of the boys did great. They do a full emersion in the holy water when the kiddos are baptized, so we were all unsure how that would go. Cash was first and as soon as he was put in the water he started yelling! But at the end of the blessing the babies are held up in warm towels by their Dads and the congregation claps welcoming the newest member. About that time Cash was all smiles! Ryan didn't even cry at all. We had a little gathering afterwards at our house. It was a really nice service and I am glad that both boys were able to do it together :) Aunt Andi serves as Godmother to both boys.

Not sure who Dan is...but we celebrated his baptism day too!

Cutest Cousins

Cash, Ryan and Grant

I had all 3 boys for most of the day today. Thankfully, Aunt Andi and Grandma were able to come over for some reinforcements :) They were all very good boys today, and besides being hungry nobody cried for a length of time. Andrea and I even got them out on a walk when the weather warmed up.

Cash and Grant

I have a new job! I just started watching our friends little boy Grant. He is 3 months old, and a very sweet baby. He tolerates Cash's screaming and yelling quite nicely! I watch him Monday thru Thursday. Both boys were in their Halloween shirts the other day and so I took some pics. The other ones were taken yesterday while Aunt Andi was over for a visit. As you can see in the pics, Cash really likes flashing his new pearly whites!! Ha ha.

11 Months

I am actually a day ahead of schedule! Tomorrow marks 11 months for Cashy. Time to start planning that 1st birthday party!! Well, as you can see in some of these pictures, two new teeth have popped up in the last month. Actually they both broke through in the last 10 days. The two toppers seem to grow each morning! He appears to have a nice gap between them just like BJ did :) Not a lot of changes in the last month. He is still pulling up to tables and couches. Walking is in the near future we think! Cash is quite the people person these days as well. He yells at everyone in the store and then when they look or talk to him, he smiles and laughs. It's pretty cute.
