{waiting on a snowcone}

We have this cute golf cart that comes around the neighborhood selling snowcones. It is usually two teenage boys that are selling them, but yesterday it was a teenage boy and his grandma. They play music just like on the ice cream truck, and have just about every flavor of syrup you can imagine. It's super cute and Cash loves getting them! He doesn't usually eat much, but the $1.00 I spend on them is worth all the anticipation that builds while waiting.

Right after we brought the snowcone up to the porch, it got knocked over. But after I showed him that the straw had a mini spoon on the end of it, all was good again...

We passed the time and Cashy made silly faces for me....

....Project time.....

I was at Jo-ann's the other day getting some card supplies. Cash asked if he could do a project too. He picked out this soccer ball and square block to paint. The kid is an artist I tell ya!! HAHA

Sunday picnic

Cash and I had a picnic lunch in our backyard on Sunday. It was a failed attmept to get him to actually eat lunch. He ate the chippys and then told me that he was getting sleepy. He kept telling me "this is the best picnic ever, Mom" guess we will have to head out to the backyard more often!

Trolley Tour and Evel Knievel Days

The Cope's came to visit on Saturday. We took the Trolley Tour of uptown Butte and the Berkely Pit and then headed up for the EK Days. BJ, Cash and Bob at the viewing station at the Berkely Pit.

The pit...pretty, huh?!?!

Old train car at the Berkely Pit

Running in the grass waiting to get on the Trolley. He wanted someone to run with him, nobody would though...sad..

Almost ready to re load the Trolley

These guys were high diving into the pool at the bottom. Had a cool little show.

Watching the highdive show...Cash was a little sleepy.

Cruising around taking it all in

Ice cream for Cashy

And finally, we watched the Keith Sayers stunt show. It was pretty cool, Cash enjoyed watching all the motorcycles. We had gone up Thursday night to watch them as well. When we got home, Cash was running all over making motorcycles sounds and jumping up and down. Cute!!

Evel Knievel Days Bike Parade:::::

The town of Butte, Montana has an annual Evel Knievel days. This year was it's 10th year. This town doesn't offer much, but it is extremely proud of being the hometown of the legendary daredevil. This weekend was the hoopla and it was kicked off on Friday with a "bike parade". BJ decided he would participate this year.

The parade offers an eclectic bunch of people...here are a few I snapped pics of....

The 80's style man mullet is in full effect in good ol' Butte. This is a guy and girl if you were wondering....

I believe this is a woman...bet you don't see two small dogs in a dog cage strapped to the back of a four-wheeler everyday, now do you?...

...how about a dog riding on the gas tank???

Cash enjoyed himself though. We were parked in a dirt lot and he played in the dirt until the parade started. Then he sat very nicely and waved to all the motorcycles going by.

Mustache

Cash got into my makeup....after he drew all over his face, he said he had a mustache just like Grandpa Hugh....

Baby Sis 30 Weeks

I found this awesome maternity photographer to take my pictures last week. The scenery was beautiful and the pictures turned out pretty cool!!!

I can't believe in 10 weeks we will have our little GIRL!!!! My doctors appointment went well this week. She is still measuring a tad big. The ultrasound report came back and said that she is in the 81st percentile for weight! She is still in a breech position, but babies can turn up to 37 weeks. The good news is that she has plenty of fluid which makes turning a little bit easier. The bad news is that she is already over 4 lbs by now and can make turning a little more difficult. So we will see, she obviously already has a mind of her own, and will do her own thing when she darn well pleases. I sense a taste of my own medicine coming down the lane with this one....

Lunch on the Lawn

I had a doctor appt in Bozeman yesterday. Every Wednesday there is lunch on the lawn in one of the parks (I can't remember which one!) But it's one of the fun summery things to do in Bozeman. A band plays and vendors set up food stands for an hour and a half. Mom, Cash and I packed lunch and headed over before I had to be at my appointment. This (along with many, many other things) are what I miss about Bozeman. Butte just doesn't offer fun, non drinking, family outings like this. Luckily, I am now on the two week rotation for hitting the doctors office, and a lot of appointments are on Wednesdays. So, Cash, Mom and I will be able to hit up lunch on the lawn frequently this year.

[Wildflowers at the cabin]

...Lunch at the Cabin...

We drove up to the cabin on Sunday afternoon. We packed a lunch and Cash enjoyed playing in the dirt and wood for a while. I stayed outside and read a magazine under the shady trees (avoiding any horsey business that may be lingering in the cabin). Cash liked stacking wood to make a campfire....

Cash was a good sport at letting me take his pics. He was throwing rocks in the creek, and I asked if I could take his picture for a minute. So he stood nicely for a few shots then said to me "ok Mom, I'm done now"....
