Random Pics

Here are a few random pictures that I have taken in the last week or so. Cash is sitting up in the bath now, so we can ditch the baby bath tub :) Our storage unit will now be overflowing with baby stuff that he no longer uses. We pass on what we can to Ryan, but some stuff like newborn clothes have begun to be returned to us already! Cash has started to become interested in Ryan whenever we see them. Here are a few pictures of the two of them together. Cash lovingly grabbed a chunk of poor Ryans hair the other day while they were playing on the floor together. Only the beginning of cousins fighting! Cash has also grown a tooth in the last few weeks! You can kind of see it in the first picture.

A Hike Up The "M"

We took Cash on his first hike up the "M". I think we chose the hottest day of the week...Cash really likes his Kelty backpack that we have for him. The view from the top is awesome! All the fresh air was too much for Cash, he crashed before we got to the end of hike down!

Motorcycle Round-Up

We went up to Big Sky for the motorcycle round up. They have this big jump set up, and 3 dirtbikers do flips and crazy tricks off of it. Bob and LaDonna are in town for the weekend, so we all went up together. It was nice to have something different to do. Cash seemed to have a good time as well. We tried to get some good shots of the guys jumping but it was about dusk and the light was kind of off. So these are the best that we got.

Montana Grizzly Encounter

There is this Montana Grizzly Encounter thing right off the freeway not far from Bozeman. We have all drove by it tons of times, but nobody I know had actually been inside. So Mom, Andrea, Cash and I went to check it out today. It's home to 5 grizzly bears that have been rescued from various situations. They have 2 cubs there that are 3 years old (they are the ones in the pictures) and also 2 adult females and 1 male Brutus that is apparently their claim to fame. He has been in many Discovery channel documentarys they said. They rotate the cubs and the adults out at different times during the day. We were there earlier in the day so the cubs were the ones out. We lunched in Livingston and walked around in the downtown they have then headed back to see the adult griz. There was road construction near the "encounter" so the adults had yet to be released. We did manage to convince Doris who was working the front gates (manually I may add...) to give us a rain check of sorts to allow us back in to see the famous Brutus. I will post those pictures when we go back. It was fun being tourists for the day!

Someone is getting too big for his tub

Here is Cash sitting nicely in his tub.....

And here is Cash after he does a leap frog to the other side.....

Happy Birthday to BJ

Monday was BJ's Birthday. We had nut cake on Sunday at Mom and Dads. I didn't have candles so we improvised and he had a Yankee candle on top :) We were able to sneak out for a movie, Public Enemies last night. Mom and Dad came over to watch Cash.

8 Months

Where does the time go?? I know I say it every month...I can't believe how big he is getting!! Time goes way too fast for sure. Not too much to update in the last month. He is still trying to crawl, but no big movements yet. He is getting good at his yoga poses (like downward dog..) but hasn't quite figured out how to move his arms and legs at the same time. He is close to cutting his first tooth. It's right under the gums, and I am waiting for it to pop thru any day now.
He had his first ear infection last week. Poor guy was having a rough week between the teething and the ear infection. He is just finishing up his amoxicilian (not sure how to spell that!) and he is feeling lots better I can tell.

Aunt Andi and Cash on the trampoline

this is what you get when you ask Uncle Justin and BJ to watch Cash...

4th of July

We have been anticipating this holiday as being a little diffrent because this year the boys had joined the crew. Dad usually makes a few sparkler bombs that get lit off in the culvert at Mom and Dads house. We always go over and have fried chicken and ranch potato salad before fireworks. This year was more diffrent that we had all anticipated. Mom and Dad had to go down to California the week before because Grandpa Bob was not doing well. Sadly, he passed away on the 4th of July.

We all minus Mom and Dad met up at their house for the usual celebration. The boys did pretty well with staying up past bed times. We took lots of pictures for Mom and Dad to see when they get back into town. Hope everyone had a good 4th!
