Fathers Day

BJ's first Fathers Day! Cash and I took him out to breakfast at the Stockyard Cafe. That is his favorite breakfast place. We made it there early so we got a table to sit at (the rest of the place is a countertop with stools). The day was kind of on and off sunny and rainy, so we didn't do too much that day. Dad, Justin and Andrea came over for Sunday dinner. Mom is in California until Wednesday with Aunt Tina checking up on Grandpa Bob. I told BJ that he may want to start *smiling* in some of the pictures with Cash. Looks like he is posing for a prison photo...

Last Piece of Baby Equiptment....Hopefully

We finally got Cash a high chair. We had been using his Bumbo to feed him in until recently. It did the trick for a while, until he got too big and started taking off the tray and throwing it.... I think this is the last piece of baby equiptment for now. He seems to like it most days. This particular day was the first morning that he was trying it out. He is a tad small for it, and finds the straps funner than eating most days.

Happy 50th Birthday Grandpa!!

Our last stop of the day was for Grandpa's 50th Birthday!! We all went out to dinner at Ted's Montana Grille. It was the first time that all **9** of us went out together. Ryan was a nice boy and slept the entire time in his carseat. Cashy was another story. He was being pretty good for it being past his bedtime. We passed him around the table and he played with every toy that I brought. He LOVES playing with Grandpa's sunglasses and if Grandpa had his way, Cash could break them so he can get a new pair....they are proving to be a tough set of glasses :) After dinner we went to Mom and Dad's for some yummy chocolate cake. Cash was pretty facinated with the candles and I am sure if we got him close enough he would have like to touch them. Do I sense a fire bug on my hands...taking after Uncle Justin perhaps?... It was nice to celebrate Dad's birthday with 2 new additions to the family. Ryan is starting to be awake a little more, and even had his eyes open for a bit, checking everyone out. Happy Birthday Dad!!! You don't look and certainly don't act 50 :) Love ya!

Cash Meets Brooke

After relaxing in the sun, it was time to get ready to go to some birthday parties :) It was Grandpa's 50th birthday yesterday and also Brooke's 1st birthday. Brooke is BJ's cousin Riley's little girl. We had actually never met her before, and she is such a doll! We went out to Buzz and Susan's place and had a quick visit before we went to dinner with Mom and Dad and the rest of the fam. It was pretty funny when we put Cash down with Brooke. She was actually making this high pitched screaming noise, and from what we could gather she was pretty happy about having another baby around. She got a pretty cool cow chair from her Grandma and Grandpa for her birthday, and so she let Cash try it out. She also got a mini couch that makes out to a bed and even has a sleeping bag inside!! I think Cash may have to get one of those, looks like a pretty fun time to me :) Anywho, we *tried* to get a pic of the two of them on the couch, however it was proving to be a bit difficult to say the least! Grandma Peggy was standing by to catch Cash, he is still a bit wobbly in the sitting dept. Brooke also found Cash's teething toy and decided that even with 6 or so teeth, its a pretty cool teether. So here are the pictures from the extravaganza.

A Day In The Sun

BJ was out riding his dirt bike with Keith yesterday, so Cash and I were enjoying the day together. After his morning nap, we took a walk to the mall to get some b-day and fathers day cards. It was such a beautiful day outside, and he just sat in his stroller enjoying checking everything out. After a short (way too short) nap in the afternoon, we went to hang out in the backyard. He just kicked back and was checking everything out, and lasted an hour before he started to get restless and we headed back in, here are a few pics from our day in the sun!

7 Months

The monkey looks considerably smaller this month :) It was a rainy day when we took the picture so my hopes of having an outside picture with the monkey were squashed. This rocking chair that Cash is sitting in was mine when I was a little girl. We now have it in Cash's room with BJ's grover doll that he had when he was a little boy sitting in it.

So onto Cash's last month. He is rolling over like a crazy man! As soon as I put him on his back he is onto his belly and visa versa. It certainly makes changing a diaper more interesting :) He has to be buckled down in his "easy chair" that he has because I have caught him on more than one occasion trying to roll out of it. We are on night 2 of sleeping without his swaddle blanket. I was up lots with him in the middle of the night, but I think after a week or two we should be rid of that thing for good! Cash sure moves all around when he is out of it, and sure likes sleeping on his tummy.

We took a trip to Idaho over the weekend for the Cope Family Reunion. It was nice for Cash to meet some of his extended family. The weather was a little cool and rained on and off, but it seemed like everyone had a good time. We stayed in a motel in Idaho Falls for the night. Our room had 2 double beds so Cash got a whole "big boy" bed to himself! He actually slept pretty well. I am tempted to trade in the crib for the double bed we have in our guest room :)
