::cope family::: Easter 2012

Clara's First Easter! I was able to find a *pink* basket perfect for my girl this year. I had been picking up items for the kids easter baskets over the last few weeks. I tend not to go over the top for Easter, some kind of new summer item (suit for Clara and flip-flops for Cash), a book and some candy. After two little kids were tucked snuggly into bed I got to work.

Easter morning began at 6am when a certain sweet thing must have known it was her first! I propped her up on the couch like I had done with her big brother, and started snapping pictures to capture what she thought about her basket. Pretty sure those big eyes are letting me know, she was impressed!

Around 7am (holy cow!!!) Cash woke up in a great mood, ready to check out his loot! He was excited about the M&M eggs that were tucked in his basket. Afterwards he wanted to check out all the fun stuff Clara got.

We got all dressed up and headed to Bozeman for the day. Mom always has adorable baskets with all kinds of goodies for the kids every year. Cash and Ryan use Justin and I's baskets from when we were little, and Clara and Ryan got new ones this year.

Aunt An and Nana ate at the kids table this year so Saralyn and I had only one kid to tend to! It was very nice! And I'm pretty sure their conversations were much more interesting than ours were!!

Then wrapping up the festivities of the day was an Easter egg hunt. With eggs filled with yummy dark chocolate dove eggs, and plastic spiders :)

The boys and then a shot with Clara. It was pretty hilarious when after a few snaps of the camera Ryan said "ok, hurry up now!!! We are holding BABIES here!!!!"
