Christmas

And now on to Christmas!  The holiday was a tad different this year to say the least!  Cash brought home a tummy bug the last day of school which he was over by the weekend.  Our annual lefse making was squashed this year when I woke up with the bug in the middle of the night.  Poor Mom ended up making it all alone :(  I ended up being sick for four days and missing out on Christmas entirely.  It broke my heart.  Mom and Dad took the kids to their house so they could celebrate Christmas Eve with everyone while BJ and I watched via Skype.  Strange to say the least!

We still made reindeer food with glitter for Santa's reindeer on Christmas Eve.  Then scattered it in the front yard.

Christmas morning didn't disappoint.  The kids were up by 6:00 and thrilled to see what Santa had brought them.  Lego's and baby goods were the hot presents this year!

November 2014

Here it is the end of March and I have clearly been a blog slacker.  This may be the longest hiatus I have taken...oops!!  I honestly have no excuses other than...life!

So...here are the highlights from November...

::Cash turned 6!  He went to school on his actual birthday (although I did offer to let him stay home!) He shares a birthday with another boy in his class so we brought chocolate cupcakes in on the 4th to celebrate. That weekend we had a "hunter man" themed party with friends and family.  Everyone dressed in camo, I do love a good themed party!!

::Leaf raking and playing always ends up being a fun picture opportunity, yes?  Angus got in on the fun too this year.

::Christmas tree chopping.  We went with the Odegards this year.  Cash isn't in to many pictures taken of him...sadly with school in the mix...pictures of him are getting harder and harder.

Rocky Creek

Oh, Rocky Creek Farm, you hold a piece of my heart.  I think I have even uttered the words "I wish I lived on a farm" while there this last time.

Cash had a 5 day off stint that ends today.  We tried to squeeze in as many things as we could all while just enjoying having no real schedule to follow.
Rocky Creek Farm topped our list of things we needed to do.  Jackee and the kids joined us for pumpkin pickin'.  Even though the pumpkin selection was...crap, we had fun still!
