12 months!

It's hard to believe this sweet little thing is already one!  This past year has gone by in a flash.  Although time has flown by, I can hardly remember what our family was like without Clara.  She makes us all laugh with her wild budding personality and made us a complete family when she was born.

Not a whole lot has changed since last month.  She is babbling more, and just this weekend started saying "bumpa" to Grandpa Hugh.  Nana and Grandpa got her a shopping cart for her birthday, and I would venture to guess walking may be just around the corner!  She pushes her new baby in it like a pro!!  She is so tiny, it will be crazy when she starts walking (or running!) around here...

We had her 12 month check-up on Friday.  She is healthy by all accounts!  Right on track developmentally where she should be.  She weighs 18 lbs 11oz (13%) and is 28 1/4" tall (24%) she is such a tiny thing!  She has the tinest feet!  I am glad she didn't inherit my big tootsies!! She is still only in a size 2, which makes the super cute girl shoes out of reach for a while still :(

Her favorite things to do lately are.....unload a clean, newly folded laundry basket, steal her big brothers ni-night (blanket) and YELL!  I think she has learned that in order to get any attention and a word in over Cash, she needs to be loud!  A small temper has been budding lately...I think I may be in for it in years to come.

A new tooth popped up last week, so she now has 5 teeth and working on a 6th.  All in all she tolerates them coming in fairly decent.  I am happy to continue to report that she is still sleeping through the night!!!  Usually she goes to bed between 6-7pm and is up between 6-7am.

This is her last picture with Jenny.  After 12 poses I am done!!  It has become harder and harder to get her to sit still as the months go on.  This was actually the very first shot I took of her, and it was perfect!  She is quite the ham when the camera comes out.  Making a huge smile or opening her mouth up real wide to flash those new teeth is a common occurance around this house.

Time flies and sometimes days are long and stressful around here, but we love our Clara June and can't imagine our life without her!
