Mom was watching Ryan last Sunday, so Cash and I went over to play. Ryan is very close to crawling, and is a really good sitter, so the boys kind of play now. Ryan starts yelling when he sees Cash and really lights up. Cash, on the other hand, already acts like the "older baby" and takes toys away and likes to show Ryan that he can do a little more. Not long, and they will have the same abilities and then the real fighting can begin! They are exactly the same weight now, 21 lbs. Cash is a little taller. No more passing clothes back and forth :(

He was going through a yelling phase for a while.


He figured out how to get around the house on his own pretty well also. He did fall down the stairs once, but he pushed through. He's pretty tough and proud of it.


And then today I was trying to catch him talking ("night night", "dada", or "hey") and accidentally caught him doing something else. 2 guesses what he's doing.


He's also getting very very close to walking. Betsy and I have both thought for a while now that he could walk, but he doesn't know it yet. Tonight he was in a good mood and would try taking steps without just collapsing to crawl. He got 3 or 4 steps on his own at one point.

Blog slacker...

I think that I have been a blog slacker lately! I read a few other blogs of friends, and when the don't post for a while, I think "geez, they are blog slackers"....then I get on my blog to post, and realize that I am a total slacker!!

Well, not a whole lot has happened lately. Cash had a 5 day long stomach flu last week. Luckily he is getting better, but I felt so sorry for the poor guy. After calling his pediatrician several times, when it seemed like he could keep everything but milk down, I found out that babies can become lactose intolerant when sick. Who knew?!?! So after 7 days with limited to no milk, we are back on track. BJ managed to dodge getting sick, and I was sick over night one night. Glad that is all behind us for sure!

I'm no longer watching Grant. He has moved on to a daycare center in town. Cash and I have taken up walking at the mall early in the mornings. We usually get there around 7 and walk 3 miles every morning. After attempting to walk the neighborhood and only ending up with frustration from a high centered stroller in the snow/ice, I decided the mall is a better option! It's really nice actually, it's all the same people every morning. Cash and I are usually up by 4:30-5:00 so it's perfect to get in early, and be done with excercise by 8 am! Cash usually has some snacks and likes people watching.

Here are some new shots of Cash and his friends. Ada came over to play the other day. They are both crawling up a storm. They enjoyed chasing eachother around the living room! And a few new pics of Cash and Grant. Cash enjoys pushing Grant all around in the walker....

Snow Day!!

Mom came over today to take a few shots of Cashy in the snow. They turned out pretty cute, I think :) Cash didn't last very long outside. Although the sun was shining, the temp was only 3!!
