[Oklahoma]

BJ's brother {Bobby} got married in Oklahoma on June 14th.  This meant our first.big.vacation.  Airplanes rides, rental car, and 6 nights in a hotel with both kids.  I knew what I was getting into, and the closer we got to trip time, I think BJ was getting nervous {slightly} about his intense family time ;)  The kids actually did really {really!} well!  The flights were an exciting adventure in which they both passed out on the first flight for both ways to and from OK.  Clara got a bit ansy on the 2nd flight home, but all and in all it was fairly uneventful.  I was nervous to say the least about our hotel room stay for an entire week.  Our kids are less than great sleepers at home in their own beds, so having everyone in the same room was going to be a train wreck, I figured.  To my surprise, it wasn't that bad!  We had a crib in the room we stayed in in Tulsa and we seemed to wear them down enough during the day that they were actually tired and went to sleep without a huge fight most nights.

While we were down there, we went to the Tulsa Zoo, attended all the wedding festivities, and met up with an old friend of mine from California, who know lives in Oklahoma City.  We went to the Myriad Gardens downtown.

We stayed in Oklahoma City on Sunday night since we flew out early Monday morning from there.  My friend Amber from California and her husband have recently moved to OKC for work.  So we met up at the Myriad Gardens in downtown OKC.  It was super fun to catch up with her!  The gardens were beautiful, however, extremely hot!!  You can see by the pictures of the kids, it was so humid and sticky!!

                                                                 The Wedding!!

The kids were ring bearer and flower girl for the wedding.  I wasn't sure how it would all work out the day of, but both kids did well!  Clara even tossed the petals out of her basket towards the end of the aisle.  Shortly after the ceremony started, Cash announced that he "REALLY HAD TO PEE!"  Of course he still had the rings in his pocket...after passing them off to BJ, he was able to run back down the aisle and hit the bathroom.  The wedding was later at night, so we were hoping late naps and if-needed-cokes ;) would tie over the kids.  They were troopers and lasted until almost 10:30!  The reception was at the Stokely Event Center in Tulsa and was full of games!  Cash was totally occupied the entire time hence why there aren't many pictures of him!

::Blue Lightening::

Cash started T-Ball 2 weeks ago and just had his very first game this past Tuesday!  It was ADORABLE!!  He had such a fun time!  Nana and Grandpa, Aunt An and Brandon all came out to watch him play.  I think the giant smiles are proof enough that he had a total ball!  They have all voted on the name "Blue Lightening"!  He has another game on Monday, and we can't wait!!

tiny bubbles

It's been warmish on and off the last week or so (it's snowing as I type this!)  so we run outside as often as possible when it's nice!

I bought this bubble machine for Clara's birthday, and it's so much fun!! Clara loves chasing them and Cash karate chops them in the air :)

I feel like my camera somewhat collects dust in the winter months, so I feel like getting creative taking pics when the light is good! I am sure the cars that drove by were wondering what kind of crazy person was laying on the driveway taking pictures of kids lol!

Easter

Clara was the first one up this year on Easter morning!  I figured that I would wait until Cash woke up too to let them have their baskets.  However, after about 10 minutes, she realized that her basket was full of goodies and wanted them :)

Cash was up shortly after she dug into hers.  They each got a pair of flip flops and a summer outfit.  Cash got a colored pencils and Clara got a new hair pretty.

                                                   They clean up real nice, huh?!

After breakfast we got ready and headed over to Bozeman.

This picture is pretty classic of these 4 these days!!

After Easter Baskets and Dinner, the troops headed out for an Easter Egg Hunt.  The big boys were really into it!  Evan was so excited to find eggs and Clara was content with ONE!

                                                               Happy Easter 2013!!
