First time at the movies!

I was feeling brave last week and decided I would take Cash to the movie theater. Marmaduke just came out, and since it's a Great Dane in the movie and Cash's most favorite word is Dutch (Ryans Great Dane) I found it fitting. He actually did really well. I think I planned it a little wrong and we had to sit through what seemed like a million previews. He lasted til about 20 minutes before the movie was over, and if I had waited til after the previews were over to take him in, I think he would have been able to watch the whole movie. The good news is, with my ticket costing $7.25, kids under 3 are FREE. Made me feel a little better when we had to cut our movie date short and head for home!

A Day With :TWO: 1 Year Old Boys=F*U*N (really!!)

Ryan came over yesterday to be watched while Saralyn was at work. Usually Mom watches him on Tuesdays, but she and Dad are off in Alaska with Aunt Tina and Uncle Mike on a cruise! Lucky!! Since back up sitter Andrea got a nanny job, Ryan came over to play at our house. The boys had so much fun together! They are starting to really play well together. We took a ride around the neighborhood in the bike trailer and they seemed to have fun :) We went to books and babies at the library too. They were the oldest ones there, and like total boys, they stood by the trash can and beat on it instead of sing songs with the other kids! Whatever makes them happy I suppose!! I managed to get them both to fall asleep on the short car ride home, but it was short-lived when both woke up within 20 minutes of getting home! They obviously had too much playing to do, and couldn't be bothered by a nap! ha ha!! So off playing they went! Cash seems to "teach" Ryan (or Nine as he calls him!) a new word every time they see eachother. Ryan seemed to pick up the word ball yesterday, although Cash can't say his "b's" so the ball is called a doll around here! They had lots of fun, and Cash slept really well last night, hopefully Ryan did the same!!

My sweet nephew Ryan turned 1 on May 20th. I can't believe he is one whole year old, and now we have 2 one year olds literally running around!! He looks more and more like Justin everyday, and we are so happy to have this little man in our lives! I am really not sure what we all did without these little boys in our lives. They brighten everyday with their antics and funny little things they do. Both are starting to like playing together, and Ryan especially gets so excited to see Cash. I know these boys will grow up so close, it's already like they are brothers rather than cousins! We love you Ryan!!

Sunday Dinner

It has been sooo nice the last few days here! We have been outside everyday for hours, and Sunday dinner was moved outside this week! The boys had fun digging in Grandmas dirt (no guarantees that flowers will come up in the whiskey barrel this year) and we even got a game of baseball. Well, kind of...if you consider the boys' ball and a stick baseball! It's soo much easier to blog when the weather is nice, and we get outside lots to do fun things!

Turn your back for a minute, and one of the boys is into something...this time Ryan was eating dirt. The first of many times I am sure!
