I would like to start this post with a disclaimer:

I am not a camper by nature...I don't like things dirty...

 

With that said....

These two little people deserve to figure out if they like camping...in the dirt...

                                          [it was a little bit of heaven for Joe Teti aka Cash.  Have you seen dual survival? It's Cash's favorite show.  We play it every day...And I have to "talk like a man" or he gets real upset with me!]

 

 

We got up to our campsite (that BJ had reserved on his way to Hebgen earlier that am) around our normal dinnertime.  Luckily the kids played nicely until we could semi set up camp and get dinner going.

We ended up staying two nights.  Both kids slept really well, considering.  I survived being dirty and I am sure we will venture out again...

clara overload

 

 

Cash had a mini-camp this past week through Bozeman Parks & Rec.  It was just 45 minutes every morning.  I tried to make the most of Clara and my time together.  We went and had cookies at the Co-op downtown one day, and did some quick grocery shopping another.  This particular day, I decided that some pics on the blue wall downtown would be kinda cute!  I couldn't just pic one to post!  I know she isn't really smiling in any of them, but I assure you she was enjoying all the posing.  She gets into having her picture taken and then running back yelling "see!!"  so she can see the pic on the camera :)

Remember when new shoes made you run faster??  I re-lived that yesterday morning.  Both kids needed new shoes.  We are camping this coming weekend and flip flops and Keens just weren't going to cut it.  Cash got another pair of DC's and Clara is rocking some sweet retro inspired Adidas. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clara is becoming such a toddler these days.  I see less and less baby and more and more big girl.  Bittersweet...

 

Hyalite Dinner Camp-out

This past weekend the Newton Girls were in town for Sweet Pea weekend.  Sunday night we went up to Hyalite to have a dinner camp out and take canoe rides.  It's always nice to change things up and enjoy the summer...while it's still warm!!
